The University of Chicago Library serves its users from six campus libraries.

Study Spaces
General Study Spaces
Spaces for silent or collaborative study are widely available in the Regenstein and Crerar Libraries. Eckhart Library is reserved for quiet study.
The D'Angelo Law Library is open only to Law School students and the Social Work Library is restricted to Crown School of Social Work Policy and Practice Students.
Group Study Spaces
Reservable rooms and areas providing collaborative work space are located at Crear and Regenstein libraries. Book a room online to work with your friends and classmates in the Library.
Find Your Zone
In order to support a wide range of activities while respecting different study styles and the needs of the collections, the Library has designated zones for certain activities.
- Cell Phone Zone
Talking on cell phones is permitted. Keep ringers silent throughout Library spaces. - Collaborative Zone
For working in groups or talking quietly with others. - Meal Zone
Meals (hot or messy food) can be eaten. Snacks and covered drinks are allowed in most Library spaces. Please clean up after yourself. - Quiet Zone
Keep noise to a minimum.
