Introduction

This guide provides resources for conducting research with medieval manuscripts, in printed Collections and in Digitized Collections. The first section of the project, Locating Manuscripts, facilitates user access to primary sources in library holdings. The second section, Working with Manuscripts, identifies methods for interpreting manuscripts, such as guides to Dictionaries and AbbreviationsImages, and Paleography resources. Finally, the last section of this project, the Digital Middle Ages, aims to provide users with a starting point for connecting research to broader digital humanities projects.
