Annenberg Public Policy Center
Hosted by UPenn. Conducts and releases research, stages conferences and hosts policy discussions. Major areas of research include media and children, and political, health, and adolescent communication. Site includes citations for papers (usually published in peer reviewed publications) and datasets, which can sometimes be requested.
Policy Archive
Collects and disseminates summaries and full texts, videos, reports, briefs, and multimedia material of think tank, university, government, and foundation-funded policy research.
RAND Corporation
Conducts research and analysis on a wide variety of social and economic policy issues and national security. Most of the papers are available on their web page.
Center for Strategic and International Studies
CSIS conducts research on defense and security; regional stability; and transnational challenges ranging from energy and climate to global development and economic integration. Much of the research is available for free on the web site.

To look for case studies in any of the databases linked to from this page, use keywords: "case stud*" AND addiction, "mental health," HIV/AIDS, etc.

The asterisk will retrieve both the singular and the plural of a word and the quotes will search for the full phrase.

Social Science Research Network (SSRN)
Disseminates abstracts and full text documents. For case studies, click on Search then select Title Only. Then follow the instructions above (the asterisk doesn't work in SSRN so you have to type "case study" or "case studies."
