Find public impact of research using Overton

by Business & Economics Librarians on 2023-10-06T10:19:57-05:00 | 0 Comments

Overton is an index of public policy documents. It includes major think tanks, intergovernmental organizations, and non-government organizations. You can use it to find policy documents, but its real strength is finding policy documents that cite academic research. You can search by keyword, but you can also use its people search to find a specific author. You can also browse by institution and quickly see how many policy papers have cited research done at a specific institution.
Here's an example of documents that cite Robert C. McCormack Distinguished Service Professor of Entrepreneurship and Finance Luigi Zingales.

Search Overton below

You have the option to create an account to save searches, tags, and bookmarks, but that isn't required. Click on "Continue without logging in" to search without creating an account.
Overton will link to full text of articles and papers when they are freely available. Contact us if you find a source that isn't included and we will do our best to get you access.
