To find Japanese-language films in the Library Catalog, click the link above; then go to "Advanced Search," and select "Video" under Format and "Japanese" under Language; click "Search" to find all the films in Japanese.

Center for East Asian Studies Film Library

The CEAS Film Library houses over 5,000 titles from China, Japan, and Korea. It includes historical films, documentaries, television series, and contemporary cinema, many of which are available for lending to current students, staff, and faculty members at the University of Chicago. CEAS Associate Members may also borrow films.

The collection is not integrated into the university's library catalog. Search the collection through the CEAS online film catalog. Borrow and return in Room 310, 1155 E. 60th Street (Monday-Friday 11:30 AM-4:30 PM).
