New resource: SimplyAnalytics

by Business & Economics Librarians on 2024-06-17T12:53:21-05:00 in Business, Economics | 0 Comments

The Library is now providing access to SimplyAnalytics, a tool for finding and analyzing demographic and other data. It includes data from the US Census, business counts from Dun & Bradstreet, weather data from NOAA, FBI Uniform Crime Statistics and more. You can select variables from any of these datasets and combine them into reports. This makes SimplyAnalytics a valuable tool for analyzing an area, especially for people researching prospective new markets. Access the database here:

Licensed for 5 users at a time.
You can create an account with a UChicago email address. An account allows you to save your work, but is not required. Choose "Sign in as guest" to continue without an account.
We will be providing more guides on using SimplyAnalytics later this summer. Click on Support in SimplyAnalytics to watch an introductory video or download a training guide.
