All East Asian materials processed after 1984 are searchable through the Library's online catalog. Many, but not all, pre-1984 books are in the online catalog. Look in the card catalog located in the East Asian Reading Room (5Floor)

To find books beyond the Library, use WorldCat, which is especially useful for discovering what other libraries own a particular title and for placing an interlibrary loan request.
WorldCat is a database that allows researchers to search the combined catalogs of hundreds of libraries around the world. It contains more than 52 million records for books, journals, audiovisual materials and more. This source can help researchers find items, verify citations, and identify which libraries hold a particular title.

NALK’s full text materials such as dissertations, documents, and articles can be accessed via the designated computer in the Electronic Resource Room of the East Asian Collection.

Off-Campus Access

Almost all Library databases can be accessed from off-campus. The easiest way to do this is to use links from the Library website. You will then be prompted for your CNetID and password to authenticate yourself as an authorized user.
