Getting Started resources for Artists-in-Residence and other affiliates of APL

Campus Card

Artists-in-Residence and Performance Residents at Art + Public Life are eligible for borrowing and Library services, including remote access to e-resources, quarterly borrowing, Interlibrary Loan and scanning & paging services.

To activate your account and receive your library card:

  1. Confirm with Arts + Public Life administration that you are eligible for a CnetID
  2. claim your CNetID through IT Services
  3. visit the ID & Privileges Office with a government-issued photo ID to get your Library card. The ID & Privileges Office is located in the lobby of Joseph Regenstein Library. You must bring a government issued photo ID (e.g., a driver’s license, passport, state ID card). 
  4. Start using the library!

Library Privileges & Services

Artists-in-residence and Performance Residents typically have access to the following services and privileges. In some instances, you may have access to additional services.

  • Unlimited check-outs
  • Quarterly borrowing privileges
  • Remote access to all electronic resources (databases, ebooks, journals)
  • Scan & Deliver
  • Interlibrary Loan
  • Paging & Pickup
  • Locker rental

How to Print

Our website on printing details how you can purchase printing credit, upload files to be printed, and then print out your documents from any one of our printers in the residence halls or libraries.

There are printer/copier/scanners on each floor of the Regenstein Library, with multiple machines on the 1st floor and B-level. On the 1st floor, there is a staff member available to help with trouble shooting, who is available during business hours.
