The Library collects books in print and electronic formats. All of these can be found in the Library Catalog.
Find items in all campus libraries, including books, periodicals, sound recordings, videos, DVDs and more.
The Catalog will indicate where a book is held if it is in print or link to online access for ebooks.
Print books can be requested for pickup or you can locate them yourself in the library. The pickup process takes up to three business days. Use the link to "Request for pickup" on the record for the book. Our guide to finding books has much more information.
Books are loaned for an entire quarter and are renewed automatically. PhD students get unlimited renewals, other students can renew a maximum of three times.
Use Scan and Deliver to request chapters of books or articles from journals that the Library only holds in print. This service takes 3-5 business days. More information on the Scan and Deliver home page
The Library will attempt to borrow any book that we do not have in our collection. We recommend doing this if a book held by the Library is checked out. You can also request scans of book chapters and articles in journals that are not available through the Library
