Using OSF for Research Projects

This guide provides an overview of different uses of OSF such as managing research projects and sharing research outputs.

What Is OSF?

OSF (Open Science Framework) is a free online tool that supports project management throughout the research lifecycle for all disciplines.  Created and maintained by the Center for Open Science (COS), OSF provides free online space for researchers to store and share resources with collaborators.  Moreover, you can connect OSF with other online tools to streamline workflow and to enhance efficiency.

You can also create an OSF account using your ORCID iD or open an account directly with the COS.  The video below provides an overview of what OSF has to offer.

Getting Started

OSF has provided a wealth of guides and videos on a wide array of topics.  The following guides are especially helpful to new users.

The information is also available from the following video.
