Introduction to Dance

This LibGuide is intended as a resource for the research of dance at the University of Chicago.  Content within is split by subject based on the existing strengths of the collection. 

European Classical Dance-Covering primarily ballet traditions, this focuses on European classical traditions from the Renaissance through to the present.

Ethnic and Traditional Dance-This section focuses on traditional folk dances and Non-European classical dance traditions.

Modern Western Dance-Covering both freeform and ballroom styles of dance, this section focuses on European and American contemporary dance traditions.
