Mass Observation Online

The Mass Observation project recorded the views and experiences of ordinary Britons from 1937 into the early 1960s. The archive is a rich source of information about Britain before, during and after World War II, and about changing attitudes toward many aspects of culture and society. A complete list of digitized materials is available.
