Center for Research Informatics (CRI)

The University of Chicago Center for Research Informatics (CRI) supports researchers in the Biological Sciences Division and contributes to research and education in bioinformatics.  With the aid of state-of-the-art technologies, CRI’s resources and services cover the following areas.  Contact CRI for consultation or technical assistance.

Research Computing Center (RCC)

The University of Chicago Research Computing Center (RCC) provides UChicago researchers (who are not affiliated with the Biological Sciences Division) with high-end computing resources for distributed computing, shared memory computing, and emerging technologies such as accelerators and big-data systems.  Below is a summary of what RCC has to offer. Server Hosting

Transferring Big Data

Developed by the UChicago Computation Institute, Globus enables quick, secure, and reliable transfer of large amounts of data.  The video below provides an introduction to Globus.
