About Dewey Data

Dewey Data is a platform platform that provides access to third-party datasets across a variety of data categories including web traffic, wage data, geographic behavior, construction permits, healthcare, workforce, consumer behavior, and transportation. Access is provided by the Library in partnership with the Booth School of Business and the Becker Friedman Institute.

Sources include location data from SafeGraph and Veraset, employment data from People Data Labs and WageScape, and real estate assessment and transaction data for ATTOM. See a full list of current partners with the link below.

Access Dewey Data

Current faculty, students, and staff are eligible for access. Log in below by entering your UChicago or Chicago Booth email address. You'll be redirected to the Okta sign in page to continue.

You'll need to agree with the terms and conditions the first time you log in. Once logged in you may need to refresh the page or wait a few minutes to gain full access.
