Monday through Friday: 9:00 am to 4:45pm. 

When classes at the University of Chicago are in session, we are open until 5:45pm on Tuesday and Wednesday. We are not open Saturday or Sunday.

Getting Started With Our Online Request System

All request for Special Collections materials are made using our online circulation request system.  This guide contains tutorials demonstrating how to locate materials in Special Collections, and how to request various formats using the online request system.  If you have not yet created an account, please start with the tutorial below, which shows how to create your account.

Please Note:  The online circulation system does NOT work well with the Chrome browser.  Some requests may not go through properly.  For best results please use Firefox or Safari.
