The University of Chicago Library Special Collections Research Center is home to the Biblioteca Homerica Langiana, a collection of editions and translations of the Iliad and the Odyssey that trace their transmission in printed form. Many class sections in the Humanities sequence visit Special Collections to view manuscripts from this collection. Outside of courses, students are welcome to request to view items in the collection in the SCRC.
