FREN 22821 : Écritures féminines au XIXe siècle

WorldCat

WorldCat is a massive collective library catalog that covers most of Anglophone & francophone North America and the large libraries of Western Europe. Believe it or not, we do not own all of the books in the world! You might want to borrow a book from another library. You can do the same type of subject searches in WorldCat (use "Advanced Search") that you use in our library catalog.

Books

Finding books in the library catalog isn't as straight-forward as we might like. There's no one set of terms that will find all of the books on women in France or on any aspect of women in a particular field. Pull down the bar in the search menu to read "Subject" and use some of the more specific terms to search and you may find more works in your areas.

Some of the subjects that you may want to try in the catalog are

  • Feminism -- France -- History
  • Feminists -- France
  • Sex role -- France -- History
  • Women -- Political Activity -- France
  • Women Authors, French -- 19th century

If you're getting too many results, you may add in 19th-century to limit to books specifically on that time period.
