2020-21 Law Library Services

Extended Due Dates for Physical Materials

  • All items checked out from University of Chicago collections that were due after the Library closed as a result of COVID-19 or checked out using our new Paging and Pickup service now have due dates extended to January 8, 2021 or later.
  • All items borrowed through Interlibrary Loan that were due after the Library closed as a result of COVID-19 have had their due dates extended to October 23, 2020.
  • Items that were due before the Library closed on March 20 have not had due dates extended and should be returned to the Library as soon as possible.
  • The Library reserves the right to recall specific items on earlier dates when necessary.

Contactless Book Pick Up

The book stacks in D'Angelo are closed, but you can request books for pickup by filling out this request form. Books will be retrieved from the stacks within 1-2 business days. You will receive an email when your materials are ready to be picked up. Books will be checked out to you and placed in a bag with your name on it. Bags will be arranged in front of the service desk in the Law Library.

Scan & Deliver in 3 Steps

1. Log in to Scan & Deliver with your CNetID and password.

2. Complete and submit the request form.

3. Once your request is available, follow the link in the email notification you receive to download the PDF.
