Link Google Scholar to Library resources

Access Library Journals via Google Scholar

Google Scholar searches scholarly literature from web pages, publisher web sites, professional societies and some article databases. To access the full-text of journal articles found using Google Scholar, set your preferences to add FindIt! at UChicago links.

To set your preferences manually:

  • Go to Google Scholar
  • Click on Settings
  • Click Library Links in the left column
  • Search for University of Chicago
  • Select "University of Chicago Library - Find it! @ UChicago"

ProxyIt!

The ProxyIt! bookmarklet will reload a page to use IT Services proxy server. Install this button in your browser to get access to Library resources from off campus.

  • In Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari, drag this ⇒ ProxyIt! ⇐ link to your bookmarks toolbar.
