  • ProQuest Dissertations and Theses@UChicago -Full text is available for most written from 1997 to the present, with some available for prior years. 
  • Check the library catalog for pre-1997 dissertations since the Library has copies of almost all dissertations and theses written here.

Dissertations and theses from other universities

Increasingly dissertations and theses are published online in institutional repositories at universities.  If you know an author's institution, you can search directly in the institutional repository there.  There are also databases that provide discovery across mulitple institutions.

Can't Find the Book You Wanted?

Use the "Can't Find It? link in the catalog record to place a request for staff to search for the book

Ask the Library to purchase a copy of the book
