How do I find reviews?

Most of our online music journal indexes can search for reviews as well as articles,  While performing your search, simply "limit" your search to Reviews.

• Music Index Online
  Either on the Basic single-line search screen or within the Advanced Search, use "Document Type" to select "Product Review."
• RILM Abstracts of Music Literature
      Select Advanced Search, type keywords in the various search fields, and use "Document Type" to select from several types of reviews; you may also choose to search on "All Reviews."
• RIPM (Retrospective Index to Music Periodicals)
      Select Advanced Search, type keywords into the various search fields, and use "Document Type" to select "Review.

• JSTOR
      Select Advanced Search, type keywords into the various search fields, and use "Item Type" to select "Review."
