Central Eurasia Project / ЦЕНТРАЛЬНАЯ ЕВРАЗИЯThe Central Eurasia project is a new initiative launched by a team of interdependent experts/researchers concentrated on Central Asia, Russia, China, and Afghanistan. For the purpose of this project "Central Eurasia" term encompasses Russia, China, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. The project is launching a new website in the Russian language that covers political, economic, security, and energy issues in Central Eurasia. Country and regional level relationships within Central Eurasia are explored. The issues of integration, activities of the countries within CIS, CSTO, EurAsEz, SCO, country and regional level relationships, policy of Russia, China, and other major players in Central Asia are widely researched and discussed. Interviews and power point presentations done by the team members are also available.
The director of the project is Vladimir Paramonov. He is an expert on Central Eurasia with more than 15 years of experience in working for the Government of Uzbekistan and international organizations. He is an author and co-author of more than 200 publications and is supported by a team of experts specializing in the same issues.
